FAQ’S

  • Where do you tattoo? I am based out of Portland, OR and I work out of my one-woman shop called Highway Tattoo.

  • I want to book an appointment, but I’m not sure how big the tattoo is going to be, or how long it will take. Which option should I choose when booking? If you’re unsure of how large the tattoo will be, don’t worry. Just choose the larger option to play it safe. If I need to, I can always adjust the time on my end. You will not be charged any more or less when choosing the size.

  • Are your books open? My books are pretty much always open. I schedule all my appointments online or in person, no more than 90 days in advance. Please see the Appointments page for more info on how to book.

  • Why do I have to put down a deposit? The deposit is just a way for me to reserve your time and to know that you will show up to your appointment. Please read my cancellation policy if you have any questions about rescheduling or cancelling.

  • Can I schedule an appointment for more than one person at a time? Yes, this is possible. If you and one or two other people would like to come in together, please send me an email and I can work with you on setting up one appointment slot for everybody. If you’d like to set up a private group party at the tattoo shop, please fill out this request form.

  • Do I have to know what I want before I book the appointment? I ask that you include details about what you are getting tattooed so that I can make sure the tattoo is doable. It also helps me space out the timing of appointments accordingly.

  • Do you do cover-ups or any reworking of old tattoos? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It really depends on what your tattoo looks like, and how open you are to different options. Please send me an email with a photo of your existing tattoo, or submit the custom tattoo form here.

  • Is your flash available to view online? The short answer is no. I just ask that you come into the shop to check out my book and the flash on the walls.
