I’ll be heading back to Sturgis this summer! This time I’ll be joining the awesome crew of tattooers at the Buffalo Chip. Now taking appointments, please email me for more info! Tattoosbyplatis@gmail.com
As my time here in Long Beach is reaching its end, I am gearing up for my move to Portland. I am very happy to announce that I will be working at Lombard Street Tattoo in Portland. The shop is located in the historic neighborhood of St. John’s. Check out their website for more info.
I am now booking appointments, starting on April 11. Please click on the Booking page to set up a time!
I'm happy (and sad) to announce that I will be moving to Portland, OR at the beginning of April 2018. My partner and I will be packing our belongings and our cat and will be heading north to the PNW. For the last 13 years I have built friends, family and clients from all over the greater Los Angeles area. I can't express how grateful I am for the opportunity you have all given me to build my career here. Please stay tuned for future trips back to Long Beach. I look forward to seeing you all when I come back. If you are curious about any travel dates, don't hesitate to ask. You're interest will keep me coming back!
I will be joining the crew at 454 for two days next week! Catch me December 26th and 27th in Encinitas, CA!
This year's Babes Ride Out was another one for the books. This year was the third year I've tattooed at the event, and the fourth year I've attended. Each year the event grows, and with just around 2,000 ladies in attendance, I didn't get to see half of what they had to offer.
Most of my time was spent in the tattoo room, with 5 other tattooers, and a line out the door the whole time. We cranked out at least 150 tattoos throughout the weekend.
I was lucky enough to paint a Lowbrow gas tank for the Moto F.A.M. raffle (see photos below). Moto F.A.M. is a great organization that donates money to riders who have been in serious accidents.
I can't believe it's already over. Now we wait another 12 months until B.R.O. 6!
This weekend I'll be learning tricks and trades from some of the best custom painters around. I can't wait to soak up all of the knowledge they have to share. This event is a 3-day seminar from multiple instructors and covers various techniques including hand lettering, gold leaf, and pinstriping. I hope to come back from Colorado with a great amount of inspiration.
Check out their website, there are still a couple of days to purchase a ticket and get yourself out there!
Location of the event- Wisehart Springs Inn
Well I did it, I went to sturgis for the first time. It was everything I expected and more. There were people from all walks of life, young and old. It was quite the experience to ride through the Black Hills, walk through downtown, and meet people who live and breathe motorcycles.
I made the trip because I was invited to put one of my helmets in the Motorcycles As Art show curated by Michael Lichter. Lichter has been shooting photos for Easyriders Magazine for longer than I've been alive. It was an honor to be involved in the Old Iron Young Blood Show. All participants were under 35 years of age and from all over the world.
I hope that one day I can go back to Sturgis, but when I do I'd like to ride my bike there. Until then, I'll just show you some photos of this year's trip.

I will be joining the rest of the tattoo crew at Babes Ride Out 5! The event takes place 4 days and 3 nights in beautiful Joshua Tree California for the world’s largest ladies only riding event and motorcycle campout. Tattooing will take place all weekend alongside Vicky Coleman, Candice Bauman, Tiffany Hosac, Vanae Rivera, and Goonies Ulloa. Stay tuned to see all the flash designs that will be up for grabs this year and make sure to grab a ticket before it sells out!
Happy to be a part of this amazing show curated by Michael Lichter, photographer from Easyriders MagazIne. Custom bikes, helmets, and art from all over the country. All artists participating are under the age of 36 and all putting out the best of the best work.
